Each year we welcome a number of girls into Year 12 who join us from a range of schools both locally and from overseas.
Girls wishing to join the Sixth Form at St. Helen’s sit entrance papers the four subjects that they wish to study in Year 12. A shortlist of candidates is then invited for interview. Offers of places are conditional on students achieving a minimum of seven GCSE passes at grades B or above and an A grade in most subjects to be studied for AS Level.
Sixth Form Academic Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the Sixth Form Scholarship Examination. Art, Drama, Music and Sport Scholarships are also available for Sixth Form entry. The assessments for these scholarships will take place during the week following the Autumn Term Entrance Examination
Entrance examinations are held in the Autumn and Spring Terms.
