IB Results 2012
Our Year 13 IB Diploma students are celebrating an outstanding set of results this year with an average point score of 39 and with 83% of entries graded at 6 or 7, the equivalent of a grade A or A* at A Level. Over half the girls score over 40 points, putting them in the top 5% of students worldwide, with two girls scoring an impressive 44 points out of the total possible maximum of 45.
These excellent results reflect the hard work and dedication or our students and staff and we congratulate all the girls on their achievements as they look forward to the next stage in their education.
A Level Results 2012
Year 13 girls have achieved excellent A level results this year, with 25% of results awarded at grade A*, 97% grades A* to C, and an overall A Level pass rate of 100%.
These outstanding results are a testament to the enthusiasm, hard work and commitment of both students and staff. We wish all the girls well as they look forward to the next stage in their education.
All our Sixth Form leavers plan to enter higher education at prestigious universities with several opting to take a gap year to travel or work in all parts of the world. The wide variety of courses and opportunities chosen by our leavers reflects the diversity and richness of our students’ talents and interests.
GCSE Results 2012
Year 11 students are celebrating outstanding GCSE results, with 94% of results awarded at grades A* to B and a 99% A* to C pass rate.
Results include iGCSEs in English, Mathematics and all three Science subjects, which are sat by all students at St. Helen’s as we believe these exams provide the best possible preparation for the academic rigours of Sixth Form study.
