Students who choose to do A Levels are able to choose from a wide range of subjects and to tailor their academic studies to reflect their interests as well as their university and career aspirations. The majority of girls study four subjects at AS Level (in Year 12) and three at A2 Level (in Year 13).

In addition to the subjects being studied at AS Level, all girls in Year 12 complement their studies with a critical thinking course, providing the research and evaluative skills needed for successful independent learning in the Sixth Form as well as at university and beyond.
All A Level students also take part in PE as part of a balanced curriculum which encourages a healthy lifestyle. A wide choice of activities are on offer including use of our fully-equipped gym, squash, badminton, aerobics, swimming, trampolining, netball and lacrosse. Some Sixth Form students opt to complete the Community Sports Leader Award (CSLA), culminating in a recognised national certificate for coaching, first aid and other valuable skills.
