Main entry is at Year 7. Girls should be 11 by 1st September in the year of entry (i.e. for September 2014 entry, girls must be 11 by 1st September 2014).
St. Helen’s is in Group 1 of the North London Independent Girls’ Schools’ Consortium.
Girls sit examination papers in English and Mathematics. A shortlist of candidates is then invited for interview.
At 11+ entry we offer academic scholarships which are awarded on the basis of the entrance examination and interview. There is no separate scholarship examination. Scholarships are also available for art, music and sport with assessments taking place shortly after the entrance examination.

Registration
If you would like your daughter to be considered for a place in Senior School for September 2014, please complete our registration form and return it to the Admissions and Marketing Department together with the registration fee of £50 for UK applicants (£75 from 1st September 2013) and £75 for overseas applicants (£100 from 1st September 2013) by Saturday 30th November 2013. Cheques should be made payable to St. Helen’s School.
What Happens Next?
We will write to all parents whose daughters are registered for a possible place shortly after the registration deadline of 30th November providing further details of the entrance examination and dates of assessments for art, music and sport scholarships. We will also ask you to indicate whether you wish your daughter to be considered for an art, music or sport scholarship at this stage.
Please note that we will request a reference from your daughter’s current school prior to the entrance examination.
