World Entrepreneurs Breakfast (WEB) Club

Year 12 IB students are given the challenge to turn £10 into £100 in 10 weeks, the 10 week = £10 x 10 Challenge. The budding entrepreneurs can independently undertake the challenge or work in small teams. This year activities have included: bingo nights at a local community old age people’s home; a sponsored abseil; sourcing stationery and selling it in school; and selling hot chocolate at break times.

The charities that have benefitted are UNICEF - Haiti, Cancer Research and the RSPCA. Some teams exceeded the challenge but all contributed to the sum total of £449 in just a few weeks, returning their investment capital.
