'Youth Speaks' competition

On Monday 3rd December, six girls attended the Hillingdon District Rotary Club 'Youth Speaks' competition, held at Swakeley's School. We are delighted to say that the Intermediate team won and now go through to the District Final. The team consisted of Nirali Patel as Main Speaker, Sonam Shah and the Proposer of Thanks, and Anmol Koshal as the Chair. The girls proposed that "The School Curriculum is Irrelevant Today", and they were praised for their teamwork and humour.

The Senior team, Ruhi Koshal, Sonam Shah and Olivia Mastin, aired the question "Why are children fat?" - a playful exploration of the growing concerns over obesity among children. The Senior team did well and all felt it had been an anjoyable experience.

Our next Open Morning is on Wednesday 24th June 2009.  Please click here for more details and to book a place.
