The PTA (Parent Teachers’ Association) is made up of parents and teachers from all sections of the school from Nursery to Sixth Form.
We come together to raise funds through fun social events to enable the school to purchase special equipment for the girls that they may not otherwise be able to have.
These events include a clothing exchange, a Secrets Room for Junior School children to purchase Christmas presents for their family members, a party for girls from Nursery to Junior School, a highly entertaining Quiz Night, and the finale of the year, Fun Day.
Over the last few years the school has been able to purchase a minibus, fitness equipment for the gym, musical instruments for the Concert Band and a new trim trail for Junior School, with funds raised by the PTA.
The PTA gives the people involved a great opportunity to meet other parents throughout the school and to use their experience to enhance their daughters’ education.
We warmly welcome all parents throughout St. Helen’s to come and join the committee and we are always looking for new and innovative ideas for future events. If you do not have the time to join, the PTA greatly appreciate help at the various functions or simply your support by attending the events with your family.
