Old Girls' Day

Old Girls’ Day is held at St. Helen’s on the second Saturday in May every year, being the closest Saturday to Founders Day.

Anyone is welcome, both non-members as well as members of the Old Girls’ Club,  but a good many of the people who come are there to attend reunions organised by their Branch Secretaries at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, 60 years on etc.

Year groups having reunions meet around midday for lunch that they organise themselves, i.e. picnics, or the people attending bring their own food with them, which gives everyone a chance to chat!

There is a short meeting in the RBH at 3.00pm, which gives Old Girls an opportunity to get together and hear about what the school is doing, which charities have been supported throughout the year by the Old Girls’ Club and say goodbye to any long serving staff who are leaving.

The school then kindly gives us all tea in the Quad/Dining Room which affords more time for chatting and exploring the grounds.

The dates for the next few Old Girls’ Days are:-

10th May 2008
9th May 2009
8th May 2010
14th May 2011
12th May 2012

Please contact the Secretary to be put in touch with your Branch Secretary for your next reunion.
