Year 10 visit Bath

On Thursday 27th May, Year 10 Classics students visited Roman Bath.

Sophie in Year 10 wrote of the day: 'I had a brilliant day at Bath, where there is the only hot spring used by the Ancient Romans in Britain. It was an opportunity not to miss. The majority of people know that Britain was once under Roman rule by their vast Roman Empire, but Bath is one of the few locations where there is real evidence of this, ranging from the Ancient Roman ruins of the architecture to the tiny and intricate valuables of the Roman civilians. It was definitely worth the visit, which I am sure my friends would agree with. We learnt a lot and had a great time.'
