Year 10 visit Thorpe Park

On Wednesday Year 10 visited Thorpe Park for a Physics trip.

At the start of the day we had a workshop explaining the physics behind the rides we were to go on.  It was very interesting and very enjoyable, especially for those of us who want to become engineers.  We then split into groups and completed worksheets on two of the park’s main rides.  After this we were allowed to go on the rides and experience the physics first hand.  Overall the day was extremely enjoyable and luckily the weather was amazing which gave us even more energy.  From the moment we woke up that morning we knew it would be the best trip ever and it really was!
