Take your Daughters to Work Day

On Thursday 22nd April, pupils in Year 9 spent a day out of the classroom, experiencing the world of work as part of the school's careers education programme.

Girls visited a huge variety of workplaces and all found the day to be an invaluable opportunity to find out more about possible career paths and to think about what aspects of their experiences they had particularly enjoyed and what they had not liked quite so much.

Take your Daughters to Work Day is the perfect chance for students to find out more about the world of work and the busy work lives that their parents lead. The Day is followed up with an ongoing programme of careers education throughout Years 9 to 11 to enable the girls to make informed choices when they reach Year 11 about their Sixth Form options.
