Author Kimberly Greene visits St. Helen's

On 26th April Kimberly Greene came to St. Helen's to speak to Year 7 about her books, 'My Sister's a Pop Star', 'I'm so not a Pop Star' and 'My Life on TV'.

These books are about a 12-year-old girl called Sam Devine whose sister is a pop star called Danni. In each of the books Sam is a year older.

Kimberly told us about how she plans her books and what made her want to be a writer. She was very funny and told us that she would be a superhero if she wasn't a writer!

She said that she received 72 rejection letters before she got her book edited and told us never to give up and always to perservere, just as Sam tries to do in her books.
