Working

Alongside our daily Numeracy and Literacy lessons our curriculum is topic based.  This encompasses Science, History, Geography, Art & DT and ICT. Topics are selected according to the girls’ age: Nursery girls will study, for example, Ourselves, Transport and Nursery Rhymes, whilst girls in Year 2 will study, for example, Colour and Light, Materials and Victorians. Girls are encouraged to work independently and in groups. Additional support is given in class by the class teacher and a full time teaching assistant.

We also learn about different cultures and religions in our Religious Education lessons and personal, social and emotional issues in our weekly Circle Time and PHSCE lesson.

Our curriculum is supported by specialist teachers for Music, Speech & Drama, PE, Ballet and Swimming.

Our next Open Morning is on Wednesday 24th June 2009.  Please click here for more details and to book a place.
