After School Clubs

Creative Club
The girls designed a wonderful eco friendly shopping bag. They produced some fantastic designs and really enjoyed doing something for the environment.

ICT Club
The girls worked in small groups and interviewed each other taking turns to film each other using the digital blue camera and then watching it back on the Smartboard.

They also enjoyed using the bee-bots with the different mats and had fun making their own bee-bot mat for their friends to use.

Dance Club
The girls have been extremely creative, making up dances for the musicals 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat', and 'Annie'. They have become very good at working collaboratively to choreograph their own routines. The next Broadway stars!

Sketch Club
The girls have enjoyed developing their sketching skills. They have used a broad range of media including watercolour pencils, charcoal, chalk pastels and graphite pencils to sketch their friends, dogs, fish and even a famous piece of artwork by Van Gogh.

Science Club
The girls have been experimenting with a number of different materials in order to test them. They used a variety of materials to make boats and then put in weights to find out which sank quicker than others. They have made helicopters and kites from paper and have been experimenting with different types of card to produce a clown that balances on his nose on a piece of string!
