Exam Results

International Baccalaureate Diploma and A Level

This year’s IB and A Level results were outstanding. At A Level 20% of results were awarded at grade A* and 98% at grades A* to C. The overall pass rate was 100%.

Our IB students achieved equally impressive results, with 70% of entries graded at 6 or 7, the equivalent of an A or A* at A Level.

All our Sixth Form leavers plan to enter higher education at prestigious universities with several opting to take a gap year to travel or work in all parts of the world. The wide variety of courses and opportunities chosen by our leavers reflects the diversity and richness of our students’ talents and interests.

GCSE

Year 11 students are celebrating their best ever results, with 81% of results awarded at grades A* or A and 98% at A* to B. 48% of girls achieved straight A* and A grades.

Results include iGCSEs in English, Mathematics and all three Science subjects, which are sat by all students at St. Helen’s as we believe these exams provide the best possible preparation for the academic rigours of Sixth Form study.
