On the 15th of March, six girls from Year 8 were lucky enough to visit the BBC Broadcasting House in London to take part in a day of activities organised by the company itself. Here we got the opportunity to participate in a workshop about how we can identify fake news, followed by a question and answer session with two award-winning journalists. We can all agree that this day was an amazing experience, and gave us the chance to truly discover journalism and what it means for us as students.
